Re: Operation Peacekeeper v0.15 Released
I just downloaded and played it, can't say I like it at all. Pretty poorly designed.

Re: Operation Peacekeeper v0.15 Released
I just played a few maps and had a good time. The gameplay is pretty much the same as vanilla but the large amount of new content (not just weapons and vehicles but buildings, structures, and terrain too) is pretty interesting. The maps I played seemed to be set throughout Europe and towards Russia which makes for an interesting change of scenery.

I played with duke for about 2 hours. There are certainly some things that need to be worked but overall I really liked it. My favorite part was the map layout. As Duke said the mod is set in Germany/Russia and the maps do a great job in setting the atmosphere for it. Also, the levels look like they would be spots two sides would actually fight over. There is a good amount of buildings with interiors to fight through. On the last map I played (Tutin) the two sides were fighting over the city hall building the entire round, the flag kept switching hands it was really brutal. Overall the mod is not too different from vanilla besides the new weapons, skins, and maps and could be considered a good change of pace for those who are looking for some new content but like the vanilla feel. It is still a work in progress so there are some bugs but nothing to get worked up over. Duke seemed to be having a blast with the portable stinger.

Re: Operation Peacekeeper v0.15 Released
Heh, indeed I was. There was something thrilling about being a significant threat to air (mainly helos) and being able to move about freely and go relatively undetected. I guess you're kind of like a sniper but hunting aircraft. My favorite kill was when you were driving our boat down the river and while sitting in one of the passenger seats I shot down an attack helo as it flew overhead.
