Dating tips for BF2 players
Snail is young and single. On Saturday he was explaining to Bane and I how much he needs to stop dating the wrong chicks. Bane and I gave him some pointers, but I thought I’d employ the rest of the BF2 community for some additional tips and to help come up with what not to say on a first date.
•"Your primary job is to keep my "assets" up”
•“I’ve earned the gold medal as a medic – Gimme a chance to jump start your heart”
•“My virtual hobbies include sky diving, piloting fighter jets and piloting combat helo’s”
•“I’ve traveled a lot of places, even exotic places like the Sharqi Penninsula, the Great Wall, Dragon Valley, and an ancient city called Mashtuur.”
•“As a member of the support team, I can keep your body well supplied.”
•“Are you a member of the Special Forces? I’ve been looking for someone like you to blow me away.”
•“Spawn on me”
•“That’s alright honey, I won’t punish you for your teamkill”
•“You’re proof that booby-traps aren’t all made of claymores and C4’s”
•“Don’t hate the playa- hate the game babe”
Do’s and Don’ts
Do… tell her she looks pretty
Don’t… tell her she’d be sexier in camouflage (if she needs to where camouflage to look sexy then your already in trouble)
Do… tell her your interests go beyond video games
Don’t…. tell her that you’re really lying about that
Do… tell her you play BF2
Don’t… explain why the best moment you’ve ever experienced was on TG commanding a coordinated attack on the refinery with all your assets available to you.
Do… flatter her with poetry
Don’t… flatter her with poems quoted from Robocop’s thread
Lol…any other suggestions?Last edited by NorCalRoach; 08-14-2006 at 09:23 PM.

Don't.... reveal that you can't hit anything at close range with your shot gun.
On second thought

If the conversation heads in this direction, do... not be shy to say that dolphin diving is a ok in your book.
Dude, let them bring it up. Do not get your self in trouble by bringing it up first.(PO3) Marcinko_R. (BF2 PR .509) Squad Member

If they are interested in having lots of kids. Do.... tell them u feel confident that u can spawn quintuplets with ease.
Dude, this is only if she really is in to wanting kidss. Don't scare the hell out of her if she only wants a couple of kids.(PO3) Marcinko_R. (BF2 PR .509) Squad Member

Re: Dating tips for BF2 players
Some tips:
Refrain from answering with "Roger" and "Negative".
Try not to point out good places for sniping when you go places together.
She does not want to hear the AAR for the ten most fascinating games/scrims you've played.
Don't say things like "Yeah, the other day Santa was saying....." or "Bommando said the same thing!" At least give these people fake real names like Scott or Chris and say they are friends from high school.
If you must explain it, tell her BF2 is a "multiplayer first person shooter type game". That is all she wants to know. Trust me. She does not care that it has an advanced squad system or VOIP comms or commander asset capabilities, etc etc.
Hope you get your girl, snail!
Kisses!

Re: Dating tips for BF2 players
The ultimate dating tip for those who play BF2, move on to something better like AA COD2 SWAT. Always a hit with the ladies.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.
