Greetings
I happened to stumble upon the Tactical Mod earlier today, well I guess its yesterday technically...but anyways, I have to say that I've fallen in love.
I managed to squeeze in a round on the public server and what I saw is what I've been missing in this game. I've always been about teamwork, and I loved every second of play. I foresee myself spending quite a bit of time here.
Since nobody here really knows me, I'll just go ahead and rattle off a little about myself...sorry if I bore ya, its late and I have insomnia. I'm 27 years old, and live in North Carolina. I recieved an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps in August 2004, and have been taking college classes since. I'm working towards an IT degree.
I've been on the battlefields since the Road to Rome expansion was put out for 42, spent a lot of time in Desert Combat, Forgotten Hope, Battlegroup 42...you name it, I've probably played it.
Anyways...I'll stop now and see you all on the battlefield soon, hopefully.

Re: Greetings
Welcome aboard! I didn't get to play TacMod Sunday night, and I'm sad about that, but so goes the world! Hopefully I'll run into you Thursday night, though (our next big TacMod night)!
I also have a feeling you'll want to post something in our Firefly thread.
Your typing skills are quite impeccable for someone who was impaled by reavers...

Re: Greetings
Well, as luck would have it, I've only been placed on the US side when joining the games. I don't really pick a side usually, I just go where the server puts me.
Had the opportunity to play vanilla for a while last night, and I had a complete blast. Even decided to climb back in a jet...oh it has been so long since I flown anything in BF2..I'll have to get that whole leaf on the wind thing down again.
