    BF2 tournament

Tactical Combat League - a tactical competition for the players, by the players.
TCL is a fun, fair and competitive place for teams of friends to play. Anyone can play as long as you show respect to everyone else here. Clans, groups of friends and solo players are welcome!

-Our goal is to have a good amount of teams/clans who will play here over time. There will be a regular season, playoffs and then a championship battle. At the end of the season we all will decide what game/mod we will play next. We currently are playing on Battlefield 2 and as a tournament; we will collectively decide the mod. Every team will get to vote on how they want the league to run in an open voting forum. Every team will have the same amount of say in what happens.

-Teams/Clans can have at least 8 people to enter but must have 16 to be scheduled to play in the season. If a team doesn’t have 16 players they can pick up people on the free agent list. The free agent list consists of solo players or small groups of players who wish to join an existing team together.

-You can run your team any way you like. All styles of play are welcome. Rules will be simple and clearly defined. Rules will never change during the season. If there are rules that need to be changed, that will take place in a short off season.

-Battles will be once a week (Sat. or Sun.) and will be 5 hours long. The schedule will be posted to give each team sufficient time to know when their battle will be played. Servers will be provided but if anyone can help out with that it would be much appreciated.

-This is war. Well, at least a war game so there is no rules during battle. Everything goes EXCEPT FOR HACKING. If you are caught hacking, your entire team will be kicked.

-Each team will have their own place on the forum and have their own channels on our teamspeak (if needed, or just if you want to).

-If this sounds like fun to you then please stop by our forums (there are a work in progress) and sign up!! If you have any questions please come on our teamspeak and have a chat with us.

Not to be disrespectful to your ideas, but your signup goes against specific lines written in the TacticalGamer primer, such as the part about winning at all costs and "this is war."

You can find a link to the primer in my sig.

    Re: BF2 tournament

phenom, thanks for providing this information. You've been around the forums for a while so this isn't quite like spamming ads as your first post.

If players are interested in the league, then by all means form up a TG team. As you can probably tell, that lack of some rules goes against the type of games we strive for. If TGers do sign up in this league with the TG name or TG tags, then we expect the same level of play in the tourney as we do on our servers.

For those that do sign up, good luck.

Any help would be great ABRA. As for the rules I fully understand the "TG WAY" as i have played here for some time. The only prob with a bunch of rules is policing them in a competitive game. Nothing is set in stone however and we are looking for all the feedback we can get.
