Question Future Scrims. Vanilla vs. PoE2

I will not be playing but maybe once a week for a while.

Being interested in scrims, what type of BF2 game should i play to stay in shape?

    Thanks Champs.

Rick, it's difficult to say what the next scrim will be like. It is hard to find large communities to play against, so it will depend on what they're playing. I would say it's likely to be vanilla, but it's impossible to know for sure.

    3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

roger that. Thanks for the feed back.

I think PoE2 could really be a great scrim. The three flag bleed allows for a lot of managment else were.

    best of three
tank/Chopper/jet map (Rolling Thunder or maybe a snow map)
    Fallen
    tank map like Carpathion Mountain.

Is there an interest smaller scrims? For example, would players be interested in 12v12 PoE2 frontlines game mode?

While that would be intresting, the frontline mode usually turns into a killfest from the linear nature. Unless we can find a community of around equal values as TG, it might turn out to be an ugly scrim. I've even seen some MnM Frontline nights turn into that where half of the players leave on the losing team.

I would be intrested in a smaller PoE2 scrim, but mabey a diffrent game mode. We could definatly try it.

OR: We could play 3 rounds: the regular gameplay mode, frontline and nuke, of the same map.

What might be a good idea is to send someone important over to the clan section of the POE forums and ask if any mature clan that would follow a set of rules and could field a large team wished to scrim us. But id be a little surprised if theres already a clan or community in POE that would even have enough players.

If you're trying to decide which one to practice with i suggest Poe2, after playing for about two weeks with no vanilla i decided to jump back into some karkand. It was ridiculous how good i did, it wasnt just one round either, i lead the boards all night until i had to sign off.

All in all I think that playing poe really helped me train my skills, and diffinately my ability as a tactician.
