Project Reality issues
I’m having some weird ping issues with Project Reality. My ping was reading 735. I couldn’t zoom in to any target with out my riffle zooming in and out again and on the nighttime Karkand map I was having this strange re-draw thing going on where buildings would switch back and forth from black to normal. I re-started a few times but still had the same problems. I signed on to our vanilla server and to a Project Reality pubbie server and my ping was fine and I had no problems.
Did this happen to anyone else? Was there a problem with the private server?

Re: Project Reality issues
Sounds like it might be an issue with getting to the private server.

3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

I had a bad ping issue also last night - couldn't play at all on the private server.

Re: Project Reality issues
For those having video issues.... try running the game as a LAN and load up one of the night maps. Test out various video settings and report what the issues are. I can take them back to PR and see if they have any thoughts.

Re: Project Reality issues
Yes I have a new machine (1 week old) with new drivers and an ATI 1900xt. I will give the settings a try as Asch suggested.
