Re: BF2 developer interview
It is kind of disheartening to hear him praise the mod community at length right before he talks about the BF2142 ranked server system that effectively cripples that same community from customizing servers such as ours. Almost as if to say, thanks mod community for helping us with proof of concept but now that our franchise has struck it big we don't need you anymore.

Re: BF2 developer interview
Reading it made me think if he actually realizes what the ranking does to some communities. All the time he talks about teamplay, yet the ranking system obviously goes right against that. I really wonder if he just doesn't realize it, or if he isn't really allowed to voice an opinion on the subject by Mr.Big.

Re: BF2 developer interview
The ranking systems it wat made BF2 sell. I think they are quite happy with themselves.
Hear ye, of the dragon, Smoke is his name.
Solely surviving the fires,
and sad and angry he became.
Until his angre became dismay,
as the elders sent him away.
Now we can hear his wings, once a year,
And, his empty cry we fear.
Sad old Smoke, out there in the rain,
We can feel your suffering, we can feel your pain.
