    Angry Irritating mods

    Hi

    I just want to say that I am an irregular but I love TG. Beats gameplay on all other servers and I don't ever want to play anywhere else. The only problem i have is that the TG server is constantly running new mods that I don't have. The reason for that is because I am not lucky enough to have my own gaming machine, which means that I have to go to the internet cafe and play from there. for the last 3-4 weeks everytime I go to play in TG it's running a mod that the icafe doesn't have. What can I do about this if the i-cafe doesnt want to get the mods but I still wanna play in TG? Is there another server that doesn't run any of the new mods at all and people can play the old maps. Oh yeah, one more thing...I tried logging on about two weeks ago but couldn't get on because the server was password protected. Geez, was i disappointed...

    the server i always log onto is 64.34.161.157 is that still the right one?

    Have you suggested to the LAN center that they get the free mods hooked up? It doesn't cost them any more to play them, and if it keeps customers like you returning I don't see why they'd be opposed.

    Also, many of us will probably be playing BF2142 in about two weeks or so, which I'm sure the cafe will purchase. So hopefully we'll see you then

    You could ask the internet cafe to get PoE2 set up, it doesn't cost anything and you're not gonna find any vanilla around here anymore

    Saturday night is a passworded night, the password is available somewhere in the stickys or announcements. Maybe you logged on on a saturday?

    I have never played a single game of BF2 anywhere other than a LAN center/internet cafe. I have never played a match at TG other than at a LAN Center. I have played every BF2 mod TG has ever supported at one time or another to my knowledge at that same LAN center. My Lan center is exceedingly cool, but I too would suggest you politely ask, beg, plead and whine to have a mod or two inistalled. Ever since TG introduced me to PoE2 and I introduced it to that LAN center, more and more players have requested additional machines get PoE2 installed there and it is rapidly becoming one of the most popular games at my LAN center. In the end they will thank you like mine did. Just another TG success story. Aaawwww.....

    Good luck. I would imagine the cafe would love to advertise support for more games (especially those that are free mods).
