BF 2 Admins
I've read a post here and there. And talked to a few people who mentioned that Thursday night POE was a "a little pubbie" and they couldn't get an admin until Bomb showed up. The general feeling was that the only admins online were on the 2142 and POE troops didn't want to bother them.
I was told when I got picked up as an admin that we were "BF admins" and that we cover all the servers equally. If we are having an issue on the POE server(or for that matter any, I just don't know much about the others) and you need an admin to clean it up, don't hesitate to switch the TS channel and give us a yell. I've got no problem with putting things on pause and knocking some heads together on POE! I love POE just as much as 2142 and do not want to see either go down the drain! I don't think I have ever run into admin before or since that has not attempted to help when asked. You just have to let us know. We're from the government...we're here to help

OK first off, Hi .. I just joined your forums to say... 'where is your TS info??'
and.. I keep getting kicked from your POE2 server for admin room.. NOW, I understand that members come first.. I completely agree.
It keeps telling me I was kicked for TKing.. although it does happen I dont do it on purpose.. and at the time I was kicked there were a few on my team who were AFK..
so what I really want to ask is do you use BF2CC?? wouldnt you kick the AFK first, or were they members??
anyway I really like your server rules... and I like the auto kick for squadless nubs.. but I was hoping you would remove me from the kicked list

Welcome to TG, ANGELofDEATH!
I believe that the kick message is pretty generic and we can't change it. So, unless you were intentionally TKing, then it probably was a kick to make room for a supporting member.
Our kicking system is done via a script.. The person that has been on the longest is removed to make room for a supporting member, but, the server is considered full at 62/64. We have to keep two slots open so that our supporting members can get in when they want to. We kick the person that has been on the longest so that everyone has a chance to play. FWIW, idle people are kicked after 10 minutes of being idle.

and now that it is passworded I see that the two AFK are obviously members as they are still on the server
.. I understand that your members have priority of us pubbers.. no worries.. but I also see IN-game that people are kicked constantly for not being IN a squad.. maybe you could wait a few seconds for someone to srew up just a friendly hint
so I guess your TS server is for members only, since you didnt mention it

Read through the announcements and SOP's. The password is hidden in there in a very obvious place and password night is available to any forum member (LIKE YOU). See you on PW night here in a couple minutes!

People get 90 seconds, with warnings starting at 75 seconds and every 15 seconds thereafter, to join a squad. I'm not sure where your comlaint is though. There is a pretty high turnover rate on the server. Originally Posted by ANGELofDEATH

If you don't want to be removed for a supporting member, you can become a supporting member yourself.

doh.. I missed the TS info.. and the only complaint was that I was kicked when there were others AFK... NOT really a complaint just an observation..sry if you took that way...
and the turn over rate was my point.. why kick people if you know in about 30 seconds someone is going to get kicked for being squadless..
but when I was kicked for "tking" I wasnt able to rejoin after the "1 minute" ban was up.. again NOT a complaint please dont take that way
at the time I was kicked I was in a squad and was kickin butt, and was just a little mad about getting kicked for Tking
again sry if you took it as me bitching about admin abuse.. just some friendly advice ,ok

You really need to read all of our announcements and SOPs. You would see that you were kicked by an automated script. Our Supporting Members are responsible for our servers being here for you to play on and they don't have to wait thirty seconds for someone to be kicked. Hopefully, non-supporting members only have to wait thirty seconds to get a slot, though! It's a perk that everyone here is glad to offer to the people that pay to provide these servers.
