Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
Let's make sure to clarify this issue in particular. It's my understanding that as of now prohibition of those tactics have not been agreed upon. Is that incorrect?

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
A lot of people here play exclusively TG and have no unlocks, which puts us at a bit of a disadvantage if all you guys have unlocks...

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
Cool, thanks dronetek! Yeah, if we were using M16's to your G36's.. well.. heh, yeah.
I don't think the suicide thing is a big deal for the match with you guys... some clans are really immature about it, but you guys obviously have your act together.
As far as base camping... For all of our previous scrims, we've played that UCB's are totally off-limits to the enemy except for asset destruction squads going after UAV, Scan, and Arty...

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
Hi guys I am from EGLN, Dronetek has contacted me about broadcasting this upcoming BF2C vs TG scrim.
We usually broadcast CAL matches. If you want to get an idea of what a shoutcast is like, browse through some of the video archives section on our site.
Personally I play in BF2C so I know quite a bit about it, and the other caster I have lined up is also a BF2C admin. We don't want the commentary to sound biased or one-sided. Would anyone from Tactical Gamer be interested to come on as a guest shoutcaster for this match?
All you need is Ventrilo and the game. If interested please drop me a message,
xfire: bibi24
Otherwise we will have a look at your about page, and highlight some things from there. I understand you guys are quite a well known community.
Thanks and looking forward to it!

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
Welcome to TG BiBi. If you have any questions about BF2 here, feel free to holler at an admin. Also, please check my sig for our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and rules to give you an idea of what the community is about.
As for the TG shoutcaster, I nominate Bommando. We need some Aussie TG representing!

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
"Bommando the Broadcaster" a short play by Wimpinator
Broadcaster #1: " It looks like the TG guys are getting flanked, OH the SL is Down, better hope there is a medic near by!"
Bommando:"Medic? Did you say Medic?!? Let me tell you about the medics around here..."
Close curtain.
Seriously this is looking like a pretty cool event. Have all of the rules been nailed down now?Retired 6th DB

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
Wow i just streamed the first few minutes of the BF2GN-BF2C game. The TOW blind-flying straight to the MEC chopper spawn at sharqi right after kickoff should give us a good idea on what we are up against here. Those things can really mess up our deployments

Looks like thats gonna be a hell of a fight.TG-E1st TacticalGamer European Division | Watch this (pretty old) video to find out what TG is all about

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
I think we have everything covered as far as rules go.
-No unlocks
-No UCB camping
-No dolphin diving
-No Jihad jeeping <---? (I'm not sure about this one still, are you guys cool with them as long as the driver attempts to survive?)
-64 player maps
-20 second respawn
-100% on bleed
Oh yeah, this will be a good one. Just imagine there will be lots of people watching too.

Re: BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
I think we forgot one other rule there...no bunny hopping? Or should we expect it?
It doesn't really bother me, but it might others. Perhaps we should clear that one up as well.|TG-12th| jmaker

Good point jmaker. Might need some clarification on this one.
