BF2C vs TG scrim discussion thread
In case you missed it, a scrim is scheduled between [1EU] and TG. Many of us haven't played vanilla BF2 in many months, so this should be interesting.

Sides are not yet determined. I have informed them that we use bleed on all maps. I am waiting on more information.

We aren't really used to a bleed on all maps, but we can play that way. We are all looking forward to the scrim.

Re: 1EU vs TG scrim discussion thread
I have a question, why is the scrim at 8PM EST? A while ago we had a scrim with another community that had a lot of Euro players and it was 9PM (I think) local (BST). Now we're playing against a whole European community, yet it's still the usual 1AM. Doesn't seem very fair to me. Making it earlier shouldn't be much problem for you Americans as you're all up anyway, but we have to stay up into the early hours of the morning to play.

Re: 1EU vs TG scrim discussion thread
We aren't euros. The people who run bf2combat forced us to change to 1EU after euro forces was released.
We do have a few, but the vast majority of us are in the US.Last edited by dronetek; 11-27-2006 at 06:55 PM.

How's that whole EGLN broadcast thing work? Better yet, what is EGLN?

Does this mean you will be hosting it?

Re: 1EU vs TG scrim discussion thread
You can still host it. We will just have someone in game as the broadcaster. We can also host if you need us too.
They have a guy the site who cams the game and there are announcers. Its pretty damn cool.
Here is the last bf2C scrim they braodcasted:

Re: 1EU vs TG scrim discussion thread
We have no problems hosting it. We also have our custom bleed mod setup here, so it's convenient.
