Re: Monday Night Madness returns
Thanks guys. I got it DLed and installed and played a quick single player. HOLY CRAP!!!! I was in the map where everything looks like a SEAL kill house and the room to room was INSANE!!!! I am all over this! See you tonight.
Oh and FYI that Benelli shotgun is beautiful, I hope Robocop never sees it or we'll all be running scared.

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
Sorry guys, not attending tonight. Due in part to the VT tragedy, I REALLY don't feel like getting online to engage the opposition.

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
was alot of fun. Really nice mod and really fun with just the 20 or so we had on...I even got run over by santas vespa....jerk.
The more i think about it i actually think this mod would be great to have on the private server for awhile. I wouldnt mind playing tomorrow night as well. Small numbers of SMs small maps...really a nice mod. My only complaint is the sniper rifle has 10 rounds....10!.that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Good to see 25+ on the server at one point.

3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
Well it was fun to try out but I don't see myself being a regular...lol. Just a little too intense for my noobish skills.
Lots of interesting tidbits though. Like all the vehicles playing the classic BF music instaed of having a horn. I also came accross several classic game consoles in some of the rooms.
I could definately do without the ability to jump and shoot, especially combined with the ability to lob C4 a bit farther. Makes every courtyard a deathtrap.
But despite all that, cool mod. I just suck too bad to really enjoy it...LOL!

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
I'm surprised that many people got on at one point. I had a blast. We should definitely do this every Monday night.

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
That was better than DC and EOD combined. And no matter how ineffective close range m24s are, its incredibly fun

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
I thought it was ok. The maps are really interesting.. I like that aspect. My biggest complaint thus far is that the accuracy and damage of most guns seemed considerably lower than PoE, PR, and even vanilla...

Re: Monday Night Madness returns
The accuracy of the weapons was all over the place from what I saw. There was a moment where I was walking around inside a building and I noticed a scooter in the distance. It was so far away that I could only barely identify it as a scooter. From standing position with no sights, I squeezed off one burst out the window and killed Mantis instantly. I hardly even tried to point at him.
It was still fun. I hope we can try that interior map next time.Peace through fear... since 1947!
