Ho dang, been a while
Back from far beyond and nowhere, I've returned to kill the lot of ya.
Noticed Tactical Mod is gone, that's sad, though Im installing Project Reality as I speak.
I still got POE2, but is that still played?
As I'm still a little catching up on everything, is there anything else concerning mods or events I should know of?
And, good to be back

Yo Thierry!
Yep, there is still a bit of PoE action nightly! Everyone is pretty divided between PoE2, PR, and 2142 though. There are also some things on the horizon for PoE2
Welcome Back!

Yup. Just know that you will get teamkilled a lot more. You just have to go by the uniforms for a quick ID.

Re: Ho dang, been a while
I'm back too after not playing for nearly a year. I'm just wondering whether I should be playing PR or 2142? I have both installed but when I hop on, I no longer see the server filled with the familiar TGers I'm used to seeing, a lot of more random people playing now.
Which ones are you guys playing and at what time do most TGers congregate together?
Where's Santa, Robocop? Bommando? Nice to see you guys again whiskeysix and john

Re: Ho dang, been a while
Santa plays on PR once in a while and I think I've seen Robo there too. Bom is a 2142 guy.
Nice to have you back Delphi...we've pounded some of the same cyber ground together.|TG-1st|Grunt

Re: Ho dang, been a while
delphi! wow - welcome back!
PR and 2142 are on the extreme opposite ends of the bf2 spectrum... If you're looking for a middle-ground some night, give Point of Existence 2 a shake.... it's got the speed of vanilla, but doesn't have the UAV/Scanner to ruin your tactical movements.
<-- slower style....................faster style -->
PR <== PoE2 <== Vanilla BF2 ==> BF2142

Re: Ho dang, been a while
Thanks grunt and whiskeysix, glad that you guys still remember me. Which server (PR, POE, 2142) do you guys normally play on?

Re: Ho dang, been a while
Hello Delphi, welcome back.
1stMIP is active on PR server. You are welcome to join our teamspeak channel and request a slot. PR developers did a terrific job with BF2 engine and PR is quite a different game than original BF2 and other mods. You must check out the Project Reality Player Guide to learn about changes (requesting kits, rally points, etc). When you jump in, we will fill the gaps and help you to quickly adapt to the mod.
