Can I download BF2?
Hey guys, venturing over from the 2142 boards. Was thinking of picking up Battlefield 2, but being the lazy sucker I am, I'd rather download it than go pick it up in a store. I looked around EA Link and the EA site, but got annoyed with navigating it after a few minutes...
So guys, can I download this? Or must I drag myself to the store.
Tearing structurally-superfluous new behinds with high caliber weapons since 2006.

I don’t see it on there anymore(EALink). Booster and expansion packs are still on there for a whapping total of $50 though. I’d just go to your local Target and get the Battlefield 2: Complete Collection DVD-ROM for $20(here in MN).

Keep in mind that the booster packs are just about a complete waste of money as virtually nobody plays them. Even when they were new, they did not attract a very significant portion of the vBF2 community. If you can find a copy of stock vBF2 for cheap, that is the route that I'd go.

Just get the deluxe, it has BF2 and SF, nobody plays the others.
Direct2Drive seems a reliable source for downloading games. LEGIT. BTW, TG doesnt support vanilla BF2 anymore. Only the mods. PR .6, PoE2, and soon FH2

That my be true but if you walked into a store and saw the original, deluxe and complete setting on a shelf next to each other and each one was marked at $20. Witch one would you most likely get?

DVD-rom, I might would have gotten that. I would hate to have to reinstall BF2, it took forever. Funny though, cause 2142 installed in half the time.

damn. i shoulda waited lol. i bought mine wen it was 50 bucks.....like a week later it went down to $20.....
