I find this kind of response quite disappointing and somewhat inappropriate. We all have our favorite mods, but to ask a Platoon Sergeant to go to the trouble of repeating an entire class so you can stay in your comfort zone? It shows a lack of understanding of the time and effort required to put together a seemingly simple practice.

If this is not the case, and there is some reason you truly can't use POE2, that's one thing.

Otherwise, you should download the mod and make the effort to be there.

Talking Re: Platoon Practice Session Reprise

My 2c to the pot here...

It's more about tactics than a particular mod...we'll learn how to play/work together to achieve goals. That is the most important thing...the features of one mod or the other won't (shouldn't) even come into play.

SSA out.

Permission to speak freely?
No disrespect Sir,
But..
I did not ask anybody to repete the session just for me, so I can stay in my comfort zone, so don't lay that trip on me.
I personaly don't like POE2. I have tryed it and it is not to my liking. I am not going to download and install a game/mod and waste Hdd space and my time, to play said game/mod I don't like to be "one of the boys" and fit in.
if it is a requierment of the Irr to have the BF2 mods {POE2/PR} installed and played regulary, then I guess I shall need to ship out. I only play 2142 98% and PR 2%.
We all have difference tastes in games/mods. POE2 is not included in mine.
Sir...

Re: Platoon Practice Session Reprise

I don't have POE2 installed and my computer can't handle the HD space anyways. It is already fairly full. So no, I am not asking for anything to be repeated. I just stated that since my computer does not have that mod, I will not be attending. Nothing more. Sometimes the manner in which people say things, is hard to understand over the internet. I am assuming that this was the case

Axis (and my fellow Irregulars) - I simply do not have the diskspace available to put POE2 onto my gaming rig - at least not without uninstalling PR or something else. I've elected not to do this - it's too much of a hassle - bottom line.

Again, I apologize, but I cannot join up for this reason.

Re: Platoon Practice Session Reprise

This is why we're called the Irregulars! And why we gave up on practices too, to be honest...we can only do what we can. No worries.

I misunderstood what the "Oh, POE2? Sorry, NM" responses meant; glad we aren't getting too picky about where we deign to set virtual foot.

Fetterman, a PM is a better place to vent. Your teammates responses do the job just fine. I'd hate to be the guy who talked like that to an officer with his whole platoon listening, not in private! In the military, I think they call that insubordination... As a forum moderator, I'd call it 'a bit over the top'.

Keep an even keel, mateys.
