New Officers, Badges and Ribbons awarded to Irregulars!

My, my, but we've been busy, haven't we?

Yes, it's time to list the accomplishments of our band of brothers here in the Irregulars...yet AGAIN. (pause for applause/gunfire)

First, we welcome a new commissioned officer-in-training, SirShotAlot! SSA brings maturity, good play ethic and can-do attitude to the O-Corps in a time where it's sorely needed. Just in case you're wondering, Sam Hoy, the other senior officer, gave his thumbs-up to this recruitment. We welcome SSA and I'm sure he'll be out of his training phase and wearing the gold chaplet soon!

We have had a recent early retirement (due to real-life demands) of another fine officer, XCannon69, our sergeant for the Pirate Wing Platoon. We thank XCannon for his excellent service, and wish him the best in his studies. I consider him to be among the finest of our crew, and a personal friend whom I'l miss having around.

Fortunately the Wing won't go without a pilot long. Please welcome BetterDeadThanRed as the new sergeant. BDTR brings his years of experience and a history of involvement in many of the Irregulars' events, and will surely be an asset to the O-Corps.

We have a recently-returned member who has been eligible for a Veteran's Badge since May! I hope Stormin'_Norman1 still reads the Irregs forums, because it looks like he could be the first among those eligible to actually wear the thing. PM me if you're interested, Norm!

The following Irregulars have made apparent to all who play with them that they are committed to the TG Way, and are worthy of being considered Distinguished among the Irregulars' ranks. The following members are hereby invited to wear the Distinguished Irregular Badge. (Pause for hushed murmer of expectancy)

I know this is an immense list, but man! Some of you have been around for way too long. Sorry, it takes time to get around to spying on you!

The Distinguished Defense ribbon was awarded to two of our fellow Irregulars, Broomish and TurkishDelight! Nice job, both of you.

Lastly, I was very kindly nominated for a Distinguished Conduct Ribbon, as were many others, who gave counsel and encouragement to a fellow TG brother in a time of pain and despair. He is still with us and on his road to feeling whole again, thank God.

Despite my post earlier this week, there is still ample evidence that the Irregulars are still strong and heading in the right direction. I congratulate all of you.
