Well, if it's a sports team we're looking for (sounds like it from the first post) then the Cornish Rugby team (nickname: pirates) sounds like a good option. I also like Lorax's idea though...

yeah i really duno why wed have a mascot, WE HAVE AXIS ALREADY.. he does a fine job

and the little pirate with cutlasses does a good secondary job tooo

Off Topic: There is an episode of a mini show called Clops on youtube. Its like Cops but its all like clay like Wallis and Gromet. Anyway the peanut guy is taking hostages at a peanut factory and he is killing pople with a nut cracker. It is great!
