You know, I just have got to say, I still think the silver badge looks the sharpest against that grey background. In a cool kind of zen minimalist way, it's my favorite. No, I'm not lying.

Re: Random

I have to agree, it looks very nice with the background (and on the side of my World in Conflict tanks!).

The light blue/cyan badge looks quite nice with the grey background as well though...

Re: Random

If I may, i think you guys ought to make a special pink badge. Specifically for Turkish and Broomish.

On topic though, I have to agree, I think the silver badge works very well with the background.

Re: Random

Actually I have a forest green, slate blue, and pink/lt green in my files. One of these days we'll have wacky badge week and I'll put up a dozen or so you can all choose from.

BTW, if there is sufficient consensus, I will consider doing a different badge sytem. Everyone picking their own color BG is entirely possible, but there has to be a way of showing on the badge an Irregular's progression through stages of training/development that is easily recognizable. And I'll want help from the graphically gifted. And you'll have to be patient. And...you have to mail me beer and hotwings to munch on while I work. Well, maybe not that last one, I guess.

Just for a teaser, here are two of the above. No, you can't use them as avatars, but if you want to use elsewhere be my guest.

Re: Random

Each Platoon should have their own badge, although still showing parts of the regular Irr symbols. So just like a shot in the dark here. Pirate wing could have the spade in the back, and like a flying pirate ship or something. Ground pounders could have the spade with an iron fist punching the ground. And turkish and broom can have their pink badges.
