What are we guys?

What are we? Are we a bunch of players who are disorderly and incoherent or gamers willing to be coherent and orderly, willing to put some time into helping. I feel as if a spell of remorse and sorrow is coming, but what shall we do- turn to the right or to the left? This is the moment to decide. Have we turned to the right or have we turned to the left, and which path is worse? What have you brought us friends? Have you brought us a new hope or an unforeseeable failure? I feel unsure my fellow Irregulars, but where are we headed? Are we heading to the path that will truly benefit all of us or the short and easy way that will end up hurting us in the end? Tell me friends, what road has been brought forth and which path have we been lead down? I want it to be the better path, but how long must this uncertainty last? Uncertainty that we will not become what we should or if we will succeed in our want of our goals. Again I ask, 'what are we'? Do we forget ourselves? Do we forget how to watch what we say and how to act? Do we forget- yes, all of humanity forgets our proper way of acting. I know myself that I forget to keep it clean. I know that if we are an adult community, we can speak in any manner we want, but I realize that 'though all things might be free for me to do, but not all things are profitable.' How do we treat others, even our own brothers in arms, as trash when they mess up? When we mess up it is embarrassing, but so be it. I just beg you all to do what is right. I know that I do wrong myself and I have seen that I am inconsiderate. I beg all of you to help and turn down a road that though steep will lead to a more respected group of players. I just see how we lose our temper in the heat of battle and start problems amongst ourselves, and I have remorse from the sight of this. I beg you to consider 'what are we'?

Re: What are we guys?

i dont mean to be picky, but i kind of got lost in that, its messing up my eyes, might i suggest some paragrahing :/

and i think i got the main idea of it, although its a bit confuddling :P

and i also wouldnt say were that disorganised anymore, and at least we certainly wont be soon.. The irregulars is mainly a group for people to use as a stepping stone to the real IHS squads, but also, its a place for people who cant properly commit to IHS to gather.. Id say disorganisation isnt so much of a problem, so long as the people who can and want to contribute do.

What you want to ask yourself is does it matter.

good on you for caring but its being sorted, we dont need to question ourselves on it as such , we can just help it along discretely.

later

Re: What are we guys?

All I am saying is let us get our act together and be more appropriate on the servers. I find some do (and I know I do) fall short of the idea of keeping our name untarnished, so all I urge you is to change your goals and uphold the goals we should have as a member of a 'mature' gaming society. We become impatient with each other, cursing at other players, and often make the same mistakes in the heat of battle. I want to make a note to have you purge this from our ranks and move on to be an outstanding squad.

I truly want us to watch our habits and try to fix them. I know I am trying too.

Hi Besiege,

Your text cannot be read very well, so I suggest next time you want to write something serious (if you want the reader to take it serious) please use some paragraph formating (as Basic wrote).

You really have some anxiety for the Irr's, as I read in some of your recent post. That's good.

If you try to communicate / talk to these "non-mature" players and there is no result, you MUST report them.
WE make this community and we MUST also police it.

If you see any TG member that "become impatient with each other, cursing at other players" etc., then this is a very good and sound reason to REPORT them on TS, or with a PM or in the Admins Forums.

On the other hand, what have you done in respect of this situation?

I mean, try something that will bring the community together and teach them the TG way.

Example:
Organize an "Irregulars Code Of Conduct" night on TS.
There you can discuss all the issues and spread the word.
Lure them with a "Special" game session, just after the TS meeting, were you can apply all the issues that was discussed in the TS meeting.

See you.

Re: What are we guys?

rasta gives a good point, as i said before we need more activity on TS2, so maybe we could arrange this as a discussion with the CO's and stuff..

although besiege rather than emploring us to look at our own goals, even though i can see its a valid point, you should look at yourself and see what you can do about these people.
