Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
I'm good with Assault, above average with Support, and pretty good with Anti-Tank. I can hop between the three of these depending on what the squad needs.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
@ thebleakaffinity: sorry about your description in the list. Sounds a little harsh reading it back, i was just piling information in as i found it and didnt edit that bit. Apologies.
Thanks for the interest Xcept1. The more people we can have dabbling in different pools the better!

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
Heres a bit about me...
I have no commanding experience or desire. I enjoy and excel at squad leading or participating in small speciality squads(max 3). This refers in particular to sniper squads or assets squads but could also be used for protecting assets or fast cap strategies on undefended bases. I have no problems suiting up in a regular squad though ...my heart just lies in the smaller ones. As should be obvious by anyone who plays on TG my best kit is by far the sniper rifle. Not only because of a good shot(easy part) but because of sound strategies, situational awareness and recon work. If teamed up with likeminded snipers who will work and communicate with me the results can be scary. Other kits I enjoy playing are Medic, AT and Engineer. In the past I have always been a great medic due to situational awareness skills that help me stay alive and I also know my main job is healing not front line fighting. I'm crap at support and OK as assault and Spec Ops. Decent at chopper flying but poor at the gunner position. Would crash a jet on takeoff. |

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
Sign me up for duty SIR, sgtDFuller, SIR.
Great idea. I think im a decent helopilot (both attack and transport) and my prefered kit would be Engineer or Support. Just been starting to SL a bit and although I find it rather hard work (so not always my prefered role) I'm willing to give it a go if required. Hahaha, will have to change my prefix again! Marco

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
Sure, if you have room for a noob who loves to learn, I play Medic/AT and would love to learn at being a squad leader but MOST happy being a squad member for now

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
Hi March good to see you interested in the irregs. We are getting some good numbers and specialities for this and looks very promising. What so you say to starting to pinch off numbers when we hit the 30 or so mark sgtdfuller? That would give us a solid base to set up the organisation and we can then reopen applications when everything else is in place. I see the 42nd and 7th have numbers in the 20-40 range and i would say the Irregs might need to be slightly larger in the longer term although still manageable.

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
I first have to say how glad i am to see this shaping up to be something good and fun !!!!
Additional info on my part in the Irragulars: I usually play sniper or assault, Sniper: This is a real hobby of mine, I'm good at locating other snipers and shooting offcourse. I'm a patient man, so i won't give my position away unless i'm sure i can hit/kill the grunt. (preferred kit) Assault: Give me a reasonable target and i usually/often hit it with my grenade launcher. Long distance with rifle is also good. I'm the guy you see running ahead of you and clear the road for the rest (do get shot often because when i'm assault, i kinda lose that well acquired patience i was telling u about. (preferred kit) AT: Just have to say i love killing tanks, APC, Vehicles, pretty good at it, only i hate the vanilla gun. With the unlock i'm pretty good. SpecOps: Just like the kit, i'm not super great with it, just ok. If you need me to be this, just tell me. Support/Engineer: Worst kits, have very little experience with these two. I can fly a chopper and plane, though i'm not the best at it, i am getting decent. I'm getting good with the TV missile on the plane, in the chopper i'm ok. SL: like i said i, i have some experience with it, but usually i find it really chaotic. If need be, i'll step up and try my best, i use VOIP a lot. OK guys, this is my 0.2 cents. I hope it's useful. |

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
Ok, I'll sign up.
I am an infantry man at heart. I can use armor to good effect as well. My Preferred class is Spec Ops, 2nd fav is AT, but I can play any class well. You need me to sit on a flag with C4 I can definitely handle that. Not good at flying anything but a transport. I can gun on an attack chopper if you are desperate. ![]() I *can* SL, but not confident in my skills. I am more effective as a killer than a leader. And I am +5 GMT. So, do we get special Militia training, or do they just use us in "Operation Human Shield'? |

Re: Working on TG-Irregulars Platoon
I would be interested in joining as well. I'm kind of a noob, I've been playing for about a month and I like your server the best so far. I'm a great medic, but I'm not bad at assault or SF either. I haven't tried SL but wouldn't mind giving it a go. I'm a terrible pilot... but APCs and Tanks are my friends. EST, but I stay up really late...
