OK where do I sign up?

I play under the name [TG] BAacklash-7. I put the [TG] on after I had been playing for a month or so and had become a supporting member. I've been on for about 2 1/2 months now and I try to play a few hours each day. I don't have a favorite kit or one that I'm really good at so I usually play assault. Although if the M249 SAW was more accurate I'd use it a lot. I can drive pretty well but I don't have the maps memorized so I tend to get lost. I can't fly anything...... yet.

I was actually in the ARMY for several years as a "red leg" then some time as a "ground pounder" and a few years as an MP so I know a little about squad tactics.

I've read and reread the TG SOP and have incorporated them into my game play. I'm pretty much computer stooopid (grin) so I'm having a little difficulty with the Team Speak. I do however have a mic and use it daily in-game.

Well I think that about wraps it up. Keep me in mind.

Head on over to this thread and fill out the following:
1) Nickname - what we can call you on the battlefield.
2) Position - whether you Co, SL or are just an SM
3) Primary, Secondary kits you play - in order of most common to least common one. This will aid in determining who prefers to play what kit at the beginning of matches.
4) Primary vehicle - don't tell us if you are a passenger because everyone can be a good passenger. If you don't' get in the driver's seat of any vehicle just lemme know I'll put N/A there.
5) Location - please include time zone.
6) Xfire - if you have a Xfire name post it.

I'm interested in joining, I've been looking to learn squad tactics and imagine them to be quite effective although I'm sure it's still difficult to tackle suiciders (players who repeatedly spawn at squad leader run in shooting and die).

I've been playing bf2 for about a year mostly spec ops and sniper but recently have been playing whats needed in the squad, usually medic or support. Although I've been useless at healing those players on the squad that rush in without looking.

Just to make a comment on this. TG is all about teamwork and tactics that go along with team play. We do not tollerated nor do we practice this type of play - Suiciders or people doing things that give unfair advantages. We encourage you to report it if you see it so that it can be dealt with here at TG accordingly by the appropriate people.

As for this, hopefully you will play with TG and experience that this is not a common occurance...

boojiboy16 welcome. Like Vulcher said above TG centers around teamwork and squad based play. Suicide players aren't here. And if they do join they either learn the TG way or they disappear.

As for not being effective as a medic. Don't worry about it, you'll get better and there are a lot of really great teachers on here and no one complains when you can't revive or heal. Jus tod your best and eventually you'll become proficient at being a medic. Although, when you hear Bom ask for ammo or health be sure you have a minimum of 2 packs to give him of each. Otherwse he'll chase you with AT rockets or a knife. Just kidding.

As soon as I see all the information posted int he Xfire thread I'll go ahead and add you to our roster.

Hey everyone. I talked to Chick3nl3gs awhile back (sorry I dropped off the radar) about joining up. Now that classes are out I have some more time to commit. I have been navigating through all the forums and threads and whatnot and I think I have read everything. I registered a name at wiki but am unsure what to do next. Do I need to make an xfire account or post my info in this thread??

Hi, I'm late in signing in but would really like to try out for "irregs".
First I should let you know that my time is not a free as some fright now I have enrolled for two more class (Collage) and work a demanding job, but I’m sure that this is the case as most but I thought I should let you know.

Exp- I have been playing for about a year

Preferred kits- Anti Tank, Spec ops, Assault and priorities change on the type of guns that are available.

Role:

- Jet pilot I'm an average Pilot , sometimes according who’s flying that day

- Attack chopper: I'm a good gunner in and decent pilot

- Blackhawk as long as i have good communication with the passengers over all decent Just ask eflight

-Leadership Roles:

- Squad leader, Commander, and infantry A team leader

Ground combat- above average sometimes I think.

-One of the most important item on BF2 to me is having fun!

After playing a couple of months on the ranked servers I kept thinking....there's got to be a better way of playing this game! I've been soaking up this forum and playing on your server lately and this is IT! I see what I need to do so I just wanted to post a "hello" and I'll get the info. in the right thread so I can join the Irregulars. Would it be okay if I PM somebody so I can get into this practice today? From what I've read it looks like Chick3nl3gs is the person to contact. Is that practice server just a vanilla BF2 or do I need euroforce or anything?
