Hi, I' new to the TG scene, having only discovered the POE2 server after DL'ing and trying out the mod. But I have to say that I've never had this much fun in BF2 before this. The usual servers are pretty much about mindless running n' gunning, but with you guys I found a place where tactics weren't a dirty word. So, after being prompted earlier tonight to go get registered, I went and checked out the site.

Having done all this, I'd very much like to apply for the Irregs. I play pretty often, but seeing as I'm not quite ready for a full squad commitment, the Irregs are a godsend - a casual squad, just my thing!

I'm a euro, been playing the game since last winter (I think). Kitwise I usually go with the situation, though my preferred roles in a squad would probably be AT, medic, assault and suport, in no particular order. Vehiclewise I'm mostly an armor guy. I prefer being the guy that's there for the SL, not actually leading a squad per se. But if that's what's called for, I'll step up to the plate as readily as the next guy.

i have to say i've been interested in joining a squad within the community and i am interested in the Irregs.

Experience: 7 months
Kits- spec ops, sniper, support




i don't have much success SLing unless its related to an armor squad. don't count on me being CO unless we are in a desperate need of a supply drop.


specops- my prefered kit of all. you'll find me useful put into a squad that is small and stealthy, or a squad in defense and needs a man far from the flag to watch for any advancing units and needs someone to keep them busy for a bit. also am good an lone wolf missions. i know its not looked highly upon but can be useful when a squad is in defense and need a man to terrorize or flank an enemy unit or squad


sniper- work well if with another sniper. again good at keeping eyes on the area around the flag or squad and letting them know what is happening.



support- i like providing cover fire for advancing team mates. you will find me very useful in this position.



i am going to school right now and am busy until about 6 pm EST. weekends im usually not available for i go home from time to time.

I put u in the specialty squad due to your armour experience and your desire to play your kits to their specifications.

If taking out enemy assits by going lone wolf is wrong, then wrong me up Scotty... What did that mean? Oh, and flanking the enemy when they are focused on the flag is so Spec ops. Sgt. Elias Grodin, uh (Willem Dafoe) did this with succsess. But wait!! SSgt. Bob Barnes, uhh (Tom Berenger) killed him for it. I guess troublesome4u is right. "Stick with your squad or it will be troublesome4u." JK.

I discovered Tactical Gamers quite recently through your POE server and I have been hooked ever since. It's such a rush to actually be working together, communicating and succeeding on the battlefield. I really wanted to find a way to join the TG community but the only problem is with school and all my playing schedule is very irregular, thus i cant commit to playing full time.
