Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

Same here, everyhting is starting to become wrinkle free and will make it much easier to get into the participation again.

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

Started with BF2 in june though I played BF1942 and BF:V way before that, heck even 007 goldeneye on the N64.

My definite kit is and will always be AT, I just rock at taking out tanks

Other kits are Spec Ops (C4 for life!) and Sniper, though I'm a bit a market of all trades, the only kit I dont seem to be too good at is support.
Also seem to be that one medic in the field that revives those that other medics missed, I mean hey you're a medic, if you think you might get killed trying to revive that guy then why are you a medic?

One way or the other I always end up as SL on TG after 5 minutes...very strange but I always do and I do have some experience now in leading a squad.

Like to use cars to get somewhere and ambush guys from behind.

One way or the other I seem to win tank vs tank battles a lot, dunno why I just tend to keep moving, out maneuver the enemy tank and aim for the tracks, hell I've taken out a full health tank with a single APC and didnt get a scratch.

Can fly an attack chopper too.

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

I started playing BF2 during the summer and have played off and on since then. I never really played much on the TG server up until the past few weeks. I come from CSS as some of you may know.

I tend to work well as a SpecOP's and Assault. But when the squad needs a medic I can do that alright as well. I haven't much delved into the world of CO, much less SL yet, but in time I should be proficient enough to lead a squad. I enjoy piloting attack helicopters, and am pretty if I do say so myself . If nothing else, I love playing the games I do in a manner that is team-oriented, and as we all know, the best place for that sort of play, is TG. Hope to have more and more great games here with you guys at TG BF2.

Count me in....

School just started back up so I never know when I'll be playing. I love playing as medic, but can play Sniper/AT/Support as well. I sometimes get the urge to do some suicide c4 jeep missions but that only occurs when my squad is empty =D

FYI.... I'm changing my in game tag to ^Thug from Medic^Thug due to recent confusion within squads. Thanks, see you on the battlefield..... and yes Shafik, I'll still be your personal Medic

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

Ok guys, good to have you. You are all now on the roster and can be considered "in". Thankyou for your interest in the irregs. Take the time to check out the events we are involved in and make sure that if you are a new TGer to read up on the rules and SOPs for play here. Some of you were sketchy on details so make sure you fill out the rest of the columns on the roster.

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

Hey guys, I'd love to join. Been playing BF2 since the week it came out, and I think I discovered TG like a month later, and haven't played newhere else since.

I like to play mostly Assault. The word "noob-tuber" might come to your mind, but I have reeally good aim w/ that thing from far away. There's nothing like launching that thing a way's away, and it landing right on a moving target.

Second, I like Spec Ops. When there's armor attacking, I'd much rather spawn spec ops than AT, and I have a good chance of taking it out too.

I can do an OK attack chopper pilot, but, I dont keep my joystick plugged in. Oo, and I also kinda like to do the suicide buggy thing, but I think it gets on ppl's nerves, and its one of those not yet written rule kinda things, so I only do it in desperate situations.

I'm EST, btw.

Lemme know if I left anything out.

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

To all those who just joined, WELCOME ABOARD!! Also please be sure to read all of TG's rules, FAQ's, SOP's and Wiki's especially any that are pertinent to the Irregulars; if you have not done so already.

Also, be sure to note that there is a practice on February 4th 2006. We will most likely be running vanilla BF2. You can check the details of said practice here: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...-practice.html

I'm going to have to ask that those of you who just joined recently to make it a point to try to make this practice so that you can get familiar with some of the Irregular players and their tactics.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask Thierry or myself about any practices/scrims.

If you have any questions about the Irregulars as a whole you may ask me or any one of the other members.

Oh, and please remember to have fun.

Your names will be added to the roster shortly. Ok, nevermind, i see your names have already been added. Thanks to whomever went ahead and added them.

Re: Interested in Joining the Irregulars?

It was me, hence the "added" post.

I dealt with BT as it came via a pm request, thought i had already added him. From now on its all yours though.
