Bodofoku is in the 12th too isn't he? He's a pretty darn good sniper. (He doesn't even need the rifle, just a ghile suit and a knife ) I'm decent with the M24, but I don't use the other sniper rifles. I'd rather have an assault rifle and some body armour (or medpacks) instead of one of those pieces of garbage. I can out snipe just about any sniper that's using one of the semi-auto rifles with my assault rifle as long as I know where he's at.

Armour battles sound good to me.

I've started building a "back to basics" curriculum that would be a short review that can be done at the beginning of each practice before going onto advanced or varied topics. It does include bounding overwatchs.

I'm stiching this together from what's been taught to us by the 12th, as well as from comments out of here.

The day I ended up filling the Training Officer* position for the Irregs I also ended up being a DI for the first time. Having a basic framework saved the day as it gave us something to work around. I'm all for the varied practices, but I think we should also run through the basic drills for a few minutes each time...I think that's why it's called practice.

Anyway, my 2 cents worth.

Cheers.

* = FYI...being the Irregualrs Training Officer really translates to asking the guys from the 12th to show us the ropes!

I asked on our forums for volunteer Snipers, and Mantis said he'd like to help. I'll ask Bod personally if you'd like.
