Graw -- Nice
http://pc.ign.com/articles/701/701730p1.html
I have to admit I'm an old Rainbow Six guy from back in the pre-UBI days and based on the videos and reviews, this right here looks like my kind of game.

Re: Graw -- Nice
Wow, I didn't realize there would be this much of a difference between the 360 and PC versions. When I saw the 360 videos, the game didn't interest me at all, but now the PC version looks pretty darn cool. Does anyone what the multiplayer is like? (I'm assuming there will be multiplayer)

Re: Graw -- Nice
360 version sports much better lighting, but thats about it. The gameplay didn't attract me, but it still looked damn good on 360. I'd be more interested in playing PC version as of course console has to many kids.
You get alot of spawn camping it was annoying. |

Re: Graw -- Nice
The only thing I've heard about E3 this year that I think is likely to bring out bad things is that they are televising it this year. I really think this will start stripping off even more of the real content at E3 as every booth tries to turn eveyrthing into a visual soundbite for the television program.
Once upon a time E3 was a real convention at which serious work got done. Now the real work is getting done in the day or 2 prior to E3 (and that work is done offsite and by invite only) and E3 has gradually less about substance and more about fluff. Television will only make that worse. When I heard last year that they were going to activly enforce the 'decency' clauses in the E3 rules to drive off the booth babe parades I thought that was a good sign. I thoguht that the E3 convention commitee was finally trying to get some of the real content back. Now I see that they were just looking to make sure that the floor is totally Rated G so they don't have any 'wardrobe malfunction' moments. What I'm ding here is modifying my earlier statement. I want E3 to come because I know that marketing pukes at the major publishers are all holding onto releases till may and I know there are some kick ass titles that haven't been announced and I want to hear about those titles.

Re: Graw -- Nice
I didn't know it will be televisied this year. It doesn't matter to me because I'll never watch it, but I find it interesting that they would televise an event like E3. In the past it seemed this event was quite exclusive.
The only thing I'm looking forward to at E3 is seeing Quake Wars up and running in a 32 player LAN. Hopefully they'll record at least some of that so I can watch it. There hasn't been any real news about Quake Wars for months, only a few screenshots. I wouldn't mind seeing some more info on Spore too though. I've only seen, like one video about spore (that really long one with Will Wright talking about it and showing bits and pieces of the game).

Re: Graw -- Nice
It's G4 again but the early indications are they'll have more live, on the floor stuff.
SPORE sounds amazing. When that coems out I am certain it will eat at my free time in a HUGE way.

Re: Graw -- Nice
g4 is is the biggest peice of crap ever since they screwed techtv.
The screen savers went downhill and then they raped it changed it to attack of the show. I'll watch the g4 coverage, I still dipise the channel. |

I agree wholeheartedly. I used to watch Screensavers almost every evening when Leo and Kate and Patrick and Sarah were on. They talked intelligently about subjects that interested me. Then G4TV took over and one after another everyone left the show and it quickly went downhill. I almost never watch G4TV anymore. |
