Sorry for the inactivity...

Hey all,

As the title suggests, I haven't been on the servers alot recently. The soccer season has hit mid-point and within the last two weeks there have been 9 matches at different levels of the program (either a JV and Varsity match, or a Freshman match) I'll try to get some Bf2 time this weekend but both Friday and Saturday nights are filled up with plans. Dinner with friends Friday and a wedding Saturday. As the season progresses things will only get busier with the end of school approaching and the beginning of post-season play.

On a happier note, the girls are playing well...we are 13-0-1. We still have some things to work out...but progress is being made. We just tied a St. Louis area powerhouse (St. Josephs Academy) 1-1. We very easily could have won..hit the post twice!!!

Anyway, I'll be around..just not as much as I would like!!!

Keep up the good work all!!!!

cya on the battlefield,

Chappie

Re: Sorry for the inactivity...

That's why it's the Irregulars, right? I've been rather inactive in BF2 as well. The teachers have realized that the end is near and have started to pile on tons of homework while they still can. Oblivion isn't helping my BF2 play time either. Anyways, good luck with the soccer.

Yeah, Chappie, don't worry about it we'll still be here.

Milli, you are having the whole Oblivion taking up all your time too? Well, lately mine has been my new job.

I spend far too much time playing Oblivion. I haven't had any homework since Monday (so I had lots of free time for once) but today (Friday) is the first time I've even started BF2 since TacMod on Easter.

We all suffer from 'irregularity' at times...

Cheers.

I wanted to paly Oblivion, but i dont hink my PC can runi t well. (6800 Ultra, AMD Dual Core 3800+, 2Gb ram). I heard you need at least something like Radeo 1800XT or Geforce 7800GT or above to run it decently with some details. What did you play it on milli?

I've got Oblivion running pretty well on medium settings with a Radeon 9800, 1 gig of ram and a 2.2ghz CPU - pick it up, and join the ranks of the addicted!

A 6800 will easily run Oblivion, no problem at all. I'm playing on a Radeon 9600, 2.6GHz P4, and a gig of RAM. Your rig blows mine out of the water.

Chappie, its all good. I think with spring hitting we've all been kind of busy. I got a new job so by the time I get home from work, eat dinner, change its too late for me to get on and play. This weekend I haven't felt good. I'm going to try to get on TacMod for a bit tonight though.

I've got a GeForce 6600GT, Athlon 64 3000+, and 1gb RAM. It runs just fine, but it is on lower settings at 800x600. It pretty much only slows down when I've got tons of NPC's on screen at once, like 20+, which doesn't happen normally. It did happen that one time though...

Milli, what staff is that you are holding?

Also, I've got a 7800GTX AMD 64 3500+ running 3 gigs of ram. I've never run into problems playing Oblivion.

It's the Staff of Worms. It lets you bring people back to life for 30 seconds and they'll fight for you. I downloaded a mod that makes it last 5 minutes though, that's how I killed and then resurrected the whole town.

With that setup it'll be a long time before you have trouble playing any game due to hardware deficiencies.

Yeah, my black horse died and I've been trying to figure out a way to bring it back to life permenantly cause I don't feel like buying another one. But then my Bay horse died so I had to buy a new horse.

I've also got plans to add a second 7800GTX in a few weeks for some SLi fun.
