Attention Irregulars!!

This is a call to arms!!

Let's try to get an Irregulars squad fielded for this Tuesday night's game. Remember that it's password night, so we should see a higher level of play.

If you are on the server, then look to hook up with your fellow Irregs...join their squad, invite them to your squad, loiter in the Irregs teamspeak channel, etc. Just remember, we Irregs don't lock our squads...

Well gents,

Tuesday night I don't think I got to game with a single Irregular

However, tonight...it was awesome!! I had an absolute blast...started some with some TacMod, then migrated to some pretty intense PoE.

As the night went on I was fortunate to game with quite the rogues gallery:

I wandered onto Highway to Hell after Tacmod to find a TGIRR squad already formed...that was cool to see.

Anyway, much kudos

to all the Irregulars I gamed with tonight...I had a great time.

We need an Irregulars night, so we can squad together more often!! Post on that subject to follow

Yeah, it was a great time Goat, until my connection dropped and my back started acting up again, so I went and laid down.

Hope get to squad up with some of you guys more!

Irreg night would rock! I seldom get to play with you guys. And when I do it's 2 irregs in a squad of pubbies.

I know this really isn't "new news" to you guys but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Every time I get on BF2 or POE2 I start a squad called TGIRR and I make sure and get into the Irregulars channel on TS. Get in touch with me one way or the other and I'll be sure and aske someone to step out of the squad so you can get in.

Believe it or not but the TGIRR squad usually fills up in the first minute or so. I think we might be getting the word out there that the Irregulars are a great training platform.

The downside to POE2 is the policy of no more than 3 TG guys in a squad. I definately understand the need for it. Maybe Irreg night could happen during tac-mod?

That's not necessarily true about no more than 3 TG guys in a squad. You might want to clarify with an admin but as long as things a even as team balance then I don't think the admins will have any issues with full TG squads. Also don't forget about Password nights, you can fill up as many Irr squads as you like.

Asking someone to volunteer to drop out is ok...let's not kick contributing squad members though...lest the Irregs "welcome mat" get some dirt on it

Wow...I missed that somewhere. Rule or recommendation? It'd be a rare thing to get a squad filled with Irregs on an open night...if it happens, let's go with it! Get a screen shot! Write up an AAR! Server crashes, team balancing, and RL will open up slots in the squad soon enough anyway.

I NEVER kick someone from a squad unless they have done something to deserve to be kicked (we all know what those things are). You'd be surprised how many folks tell me how impressed they were with the style of game play we have and how nice it is to have a SL that actually gives orders and direction. It really gives me a sense of purpose on the battle field.

Hmmm perhaps my phrasing was bad. It isn't a rule really but a reccomendation on how to spread the TG love to all the new folks. I never join a squad with more than 3 TG guys in it and always try to join squads with people I haven't seen before.
