LOL! Ok, that's pretty funny. I can't allow the avatars to be altered, Fred, sorry. If we have a rule, everyone needs to follow it, or we get into murky territory.

Your Sig is yours to do with as you like, so putting a Fred's head and swords as part of your sig is fine with me--I'll even help with the files you need--but please keep the avatars unaltered.

I know I'm weighing in on this a little late... but is there a chance for an Irregs signature banner of some type? Axis, your sig banner is awesome! I don't suppose you can make some kind of generic one for the rest of us Irregs?

that wouldnt be too bad an idea, but signiture is supposed to be "your signiture" as such, with your own touches.. personal, as is your hand written signiture....

maybe some sort of logo or addition that we add to all our sigs to make it recognised would be good.

Okay, so the first post in this thread is the first place I've heard about having to notify a Platoon Sergeant of our platoon of choice. Is there a list of those somewhere?

Awesome--thanks! I still don't see anything about notifying the platoon sergeant, though. I'd be happy to, but if that's something that needs to be done to join a platoon, you might want to add it to that post and/or list it elsewhere as a requirement to join a platoon.

we already have, we ask you to chose upon joining, or applying, usually this means you should have the courtesy to notify that searge so they know of you, and can welcome you officially, its all about manners...

Regarding the request for an (un)official Irr sig, I'm currently working on one that uses the same color scheme as the Officer's Badge with the same glassy look.

My idea is I'll direct you to a website where you can design your own text online and save the file, then get it to me somehow and I'll insert it, or you can DL the blank sig banner and put what you want in it. Later, we may require you to add a platoon patch, but first things first!

I'll be adding one more Badge class in the first post sometime soon, as well...

Ok, heres some basic information to help you and your fellow Irregulars in keeping up appearances.

Ive seen cases before where a member of our fine organization, namely the Irr's, has decided they can't find the higher resolution badges. Ive also seen cases of people just saving the wrong image.

So after some general "badgering" as it was put, i have decided to help you all along with your problems.

Basicly, we REALLY don't want you using the low-res images, because we want to keep the best image we can.

Here is an example of what I mean:

As you can see, the resolution of the image above is fairly poor.

Upon receiving your rank of |TG-Irr| badge in "the mail", you will need to click this image, as it is linked to the high-res version, which you can save accordingly.

Please make sure you don't simply right click and save the image as it is displayed directly, because this will result in the poor quality version.

Make sure the version of the badge you are using does not show the "sample" watermark.
Also, you can save it in bitmap format, and not Jpeg, to ensure better quality.

If the case is that you do not receive your badge by Private Message, please nag one of the officers in charge of handing it out, these being either Axis, or preferably, SirShotAlot.
