Pure evil. I've actually done quite a few of these things, and I didn't need a website to tell me, I came up with them myself!

Personal favorite, especially effective at curing hiccups: Hyperventilate, then stop breathing (different than holding breath) while thinking of as many famous bald men as possible before the impulse to breathe comes back.

I've gone as long as 2:40 without the slightest inclination to begin breathing again. Pretty cool, and very peaceful. Ran out of bald men, though...
