IRREGULARS' ANNUAL PIRATE BATTLE ROYALE!

What day is it ye ask? All the saltiest dogs know it's less than a week until the grandest day for any Pirate who knows his belayin' pin from his marlinspike--if'n ye don't know whereof I speak, get a clew! What other day could it be?!

International Talk Like A Pirate Day is September 19th, feller-me-lads, an' it's movin' up on us like a clipper on a close-hauled reach!

Ye got precious few days ta sign on, because we have reserved the Private Server for 9 hours of Irregulars-only bloody mayhem, drunken brawling and stuffed animal-friend tea-parties galore!

Ye can be sure Mr. Twinkles will be there, and a few more o' ya will be goin' home with one less eye, right, Mr. T.?

Right, so here be the run o' the riggin', bilgerats! All ye who sail the waters of the 22nd century be plunderin' from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, EDT! Then at 9:00 the mayhem begins on the server fer all they that favor POE, until the ships bells are strikin' half-past the midnight hour!

Sign in ta Teamspeak in th' Irregulars channel and prepare ta say more than Yaaaar! It's Talk Like A Pirate Day, so I expect ta hear some salty language and right good turn of sailor phrase!

An' another thing--don't be comin' ta no admin bawlin' and snivelin' over a bit of rammin' and explosive-laden vehicles! This here's a Pirate Jamboree, not Lady Pinkerpointe's Grande Regatta for the Society of Sober Sailors...
I'll have anyone who camps UCBs, TKs or breaks any other standard rule thrown overboard, however, and I ain't bluffin'.

The manner in which the password will be given fer the server will be announced later. Sign up belowdecks and sign in ta teamspeak ta be counted an' eligible for a commemorative bit o' flashy trash ye can pin on yer puffy shirt somewheres.

If sign-ups are few, we'll open the Jamboree up to those mutinous sons o' whores that left the Irregulars fer more civilized waters!

HOWEVER: If there be a supportin' member aboard who be not an Irregular, and there need be room made fer a non-supporting Irregular, that non-Irregular SM may consider himself sharkbait an' kindly jump overboard to make room. Thank'ee matey!

This is a day fer Irregulars, whether ye have the ducats to support or not. An' as fer those of ye who have the ducats an' ain't supportin'... well, a taste o' honey makes goin' back ta tarboil molasses mighty bitter to taste, lads. Might be time ta pony up.

Having been made aware that the term 'jamboree' is rather boy scout, I hereby edit the name to:The Irregulars' Annual Pirate Battle Royale or PBR for short.

Lest any think we'll be doing lanyard-weaving and canoe races.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. PBR....mmm...I taste a corporate sponsorship, methinks.
