Adding the laser guided bombs that were suppose to be in BF2.
I remember there being "laser guided missiles" as an advertised feature when BF2 was released, and I am also aware that it was taken out because it took too much teamwork to use. It worked by using the binoculars to paint any target you wanted to (it my have just been vehicles) and this would cause a lock-on to appear on the targeting screen of the bomber's co-pilot. I think we should bring back the bomber but make only painted targets availible for lock-on (if that's not enough we could remove the "paracute" bombs in order to make the bomber even less potent). This would make the bomber both less dominate and more tactical. Plus, c'mon who doesn't want to laser guide a missile onto a tank?
Please post whether it is possible, and whta you think because if we can't figure it out maybe DICE would let us see what the orignial code was to make the bombs the way i proposed above. The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving.

83. Must not start any SITREP (Situation Report) with "I recently had an experience I just had to write you about...."

The feature was never completed in the game so at this point I don't think there is anything we can do about it.

I think he's saying that the rectangle that appears around bombable targets would only show if said armor were marked by scouts/infantry.
