Don't mind the chopper and the f35, they're just there for me to mess around with.
And the tanks are suposed to get airdropped...they're also suposed to be USMC, I just wanted to see if I could fit the 16 tanks there while building the area. I don't know if I'm going to be able to get them to airdrop instead of just spawning so they'll probly end up spawning there anyway. That part of the map isn't really suposed to be realistic It's just to have a fun massive tank battle.
And yes Asch that's the airport terminal from SF. It looks crappy in that pic because it doesn't have lightmapping, I'll have to lightmap it in 3DSMAX because EA never released the .samples to do it with the editor. There will also be the parking garage from SF and the big tower from Ghost Town.
Kilrogg, is there anyway to spawn kits with the tanks?
I was thinking it would be cool to have 16 engineer kits spawn with the tanks so we could have 16 drivers and 16 engineers all in tanks having a massive battle. I am sure it would be hard to capture the resort with a bunch of engineers and we would want people to sucicide spawn engineer
It's not going to be there in the real map...the AA is there to give USMC a purpose to take the resort so it fits with the story. They take it so they can get airdrops of supplies to attack the city, they can't airdrop at low altitude with AA everywhere. There won't be any air at all in the map, it's just too hard to balance.
Drunk brought up a good point. If the tanks dont spawn with engineer kits next to them, then the USMC is going to have to all parachute as engineers if they want to have a chance in the armor battle.
There's a way to make kits spawn with python. I know nothing about programming but I'll take a look at the thread about it on the editor forums. Besides, most of the fighting is going to be inside the building so shotguns wouldn't be too bad anyway
