Suggestion: AARs for tac mod onto tac mod forum

Heres a suggestion
Have an AAR section in 'Battlefield 2 Tac Mod'

This would do something to help publicise the mod as new people may visit the tac mod section and see the fun people are having with the tac mod by reading about it in the AAR. This could encourage new people to have a go and spend the time downloading the map packs.

The admins could move AARs from the BF2 section to the tac mod section if they are posted there by mistake.

Nice suggestion.. I agree we could get all the previously written TacMod AARs moved here and a sticky on the BF2 AAR forum for people to AAR for TacMod games in the new forum area here.

Re: Suggestion: AARs for tac mod onto tac mod forum

I'm somewhat torn. I currently like seeing all of the AARs in one spot. It also helps someone viewing the BF2 forums to notice the tac mod, especially those who haven't tried it or are reluctant... they get to see how much fun we're having.

I could easily start a sticky that links to each of the tac mod AARs in the BF2 AAR forum..... or would everyone still like to see a tac mod AAR forum?

Its not clear cut is it, there are prox and cons both ways.
I reckon its best if the admins just make a call one way or the other.

Re: Suggestion: AARs for tac mod onto tac mod forum

How about a forum link in the TacMod section that performs a search on the BF2 AAR forum for "TacMod"?

I just tried a search and it seems to return almost all the AAR's relating to TacMod.

Re: Suggestion: AARs for tac mod onto tac mod forum

Why not include the BF2 AAR Section on the TacMod forums like Grunt proposed.
A "TacMod AAR Forum" that actually links to the BF2 AAR Forum. That way new people interested in TacMod will find AAR easier while at the same time they can read up on how we play vanilla.

I'll look into this.
