low turnouts for tackmod sunday
The last two tacmod sundays we've had some awesome games, but it was barely 2 squads vs 2 each time. What's up? How come no one plays tac mod anymore?
I've been joining the server right when the mod starts and have stayed on up until the end, but the population never seemed to increase. We gotta rally the masses for tomorrow somehow. I'll try to remind people during poe2 tomorrow before tacmod time comes.

We've started a few hours earlier for the euro players, but that hasn't quite drawn as many as hoped. We're still getting up to 26 or so players around 8p / 9p. That's been the trend ever since PoE2 came out. Players are drawn to the larger server.

I'd attend more often, but I get off of work and have a DnD session from EST ~7:30 till whenever (typically midnight) and thursday, I don't get off of work and onto my computer till ~10:40 as long as I don't stop at a bar along the way.

Sadly it seems those interested in playing TacMod has limited us to these <30p games. It would be nice to grow the player base, but I fear bf2142 and the other slew of non bf2 titles being released this christmas will put further strains on the TacMod population.

The obvious solution is to cause the POE and 2142 servers to crash mysteriously during tacmod nights.

Hi.
This should probably go in suggestions but after reading the tacgame mod features I would love to play it on the POE2 maps and toys. (I'll be at the first tmod night I can make.) Is that just a crazy amount of work to do? I noticed your tac mod package is very small indicating it's probably just rule changes and balance features (with the exception of an effects addon). Am I wrong or is it possible to blend the two? I can only speak for myself but the new maps are the biggest draw for me then secondly, the vehicles and weapons they chose.

The actual tactical mod installation is rather small compared to other mods, however you'll notice there are four (4) map packs required. Adding all of that up is a lot of download time. Tac Mod is also more tweaks to existing features where-as other mods include new objects, vehicles, etc.
I agree that a PoE2 tactical mod would be great but I'm not sure that will be in the near future. We shall see.
