Download takes FOREVER!

Hello. I apologize that my first ever post is one of grievance, but why does the DL for the map packs take so long? I am down to 9KB/Sec. This is worse than dial-up and I have a cable connection and can usually DL a 300MB file in about 10 minutes or less. Please help, I really want to install this mod and start enjoying this game again.

Sadly we don't run our Tacmod nights anymore. It is still a fantastic mod and worth the download IMO even if it is for the singleplayer or the hope that there will be some future Tacmod event. But I am crazy let someone else tell you about Tacmod's future.

guess it's back to PRM for my BF2 tactical fix and maybe even Armed Assault, the demo I am DLing as we speak.

Welcome to TG san7os. We have indeed moved to PRM and Armed Assualt for those of us desiring the "tactical" experience. I think you will see great things for Armed Assault at TG in the near future!
