Re: Squad Hoke

I'm always the helicopter Hoke. Though mainly my chief role is pulling out a can of whupass with the attack chopper when I see an enemy tank bearing down on my squadmates.

Re: Squad Hoke

I doubt if anyone hasn't figured this out, but if you're driving any vehicle F10 will put you in a third person rear chase view, this is great for driving things like buggies where there's no weapon to worry about firing, and makes it easier to drive. I also recommend this if you're in a tank and not in battle but trying to move around teammates, makes it easy to see them and cuts down on the TKing.

This feature existed in BF1942. Using some of the function keys will put you in certain views... you can also hit the 'C' key to rotate between all of the views.

"Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine, regardless of the level of advantage, if any, it gives over the opposing team." -- Tactical Gamer Primer

+1 on squad leader driving the bus. Minimizes confusion on where to go.
