Your posts sure don't indicate that...

Heck, I hope I'm wrong. Maybe you just made a bad first impression and you'll turn out to be the nicest guy that goes out of his way to help his team when playing BF2. Perhaps you will be dedicated to playing BF2 the same way that TacticalGamer.com enjoys... We can only hope...

Re: Importance of an AIRSUPPORT squad

wow, definatly not the best introduction to tg you could make. actually i think its the worst in our history. even worse thatn SlayeR, who started an admin complaint thread about Root with his first post. nope, this is worse, telling our whole community that we are not using teamwork. thats the reason this community was founded. we have the first member to ever venture into the "[Forumname] can only hope to improve" ranking. you scared me when i saw the little red icon.

I didn't see him in game, but his name was on the playerlist for one of the 2 public TG servers (don't remember which one).

He does play on our servers. I remember killing him on numerous occasions. His "Delta Force: I am teh pWnz0r" squad was still rolling last night when I joined the 70.86.19.218 IP but he wasn't there. =/

Re: Importance of an AIRSUPPORT squad

Indeed my friend, I do play and in all seriousness I love these servers, the teamwork makes this game supreme, and these are always the first servers I try to join. Suprised not more servers are like this..

In any case see you on tonight!

Re: Importance of an AIRSUPPORT squad

I find that jets shouldn't need that much direction. They take out vehicles that they see, and they see where the other troops are heading and they bomb and attack the positions ahead of them. They quickly rush to just neutralized bases to try and bomb those too. They see a helicopter giving hell to a squad they destroy it. Its not that hard and you just have to think while you're in the air and you'll do alot more good doing as much as possible then attempting to constantly bomb one place

Re: Importance of an AIRSUPPORT squad

Mishkan,

this is incorrect, while that is fine when the commander is not busy, whenever I plan a squad assault on a position I always try to focus a airstrike on that base also.

Remember, being a true master isn't just about killing the enemy, it's about murdering the enemy until they die from it.

Excerpt from "Stavros extreme advanced tactics guide, p. 106 paragraph 8, subchapter 17"

" When sending in an assault force on a postiion, the airforce should be an integral part of prelimilary bombing, only a controlled and preplanned bombing run following a massive squad incursion will guarantee success..."

You see it's all in the book there, controlling a bomber is just as important as ordering a squad to take positions.

Re: Importance of an AIRSUPPORT squad

Stavros, you are doing absolutly nothing to help the community with your posts. they are saying everyone's thoughts are wrong and you keep refering back to "Stavros extreme advanced tatics guide", which, if i might say, tells us absolutly nothing and makes you look extremly stupid.

Trooper I am a MAJOR squad player, if you were ever on a squad with me you would know this, respect it and LOVE it. I don't remember you shooting me, but if you ever did shoot me even in a dream you better wake up and apologize!
