That's done so that people who are logged into their computer as a regular, non-admin user can function. If only all windows software was so modern. I used to try windows computing (is that an oxymoron?) as an unprivileged user, and man was it painful. Apps left and right, even new ones, that don't work unless you're a power-user or admin.

Which is rendered mostly useless, as punkbuster requires you to run BF2 as a user with administrative privileges...joy...

I never understood the whole admin priveage requirement. It's way more secure to run XP as a non admin. I mean, you don't run UNIX based stuff as root. I hope you don't.

I have two files in the folder that was in my mydocuments Battlefeild folder, 001 and 002 what one would it be to switch my name and settings over, and my second question is, will my rank and such transfer with the name change or will i have to start all over with my rank?
