Has anyone been able to set their in-game name to something other than their account name?

I don't think you can. At least I haven't been able to figure it out. I just created a new account.

I know that in GameSpy Arcade you can change your profile and change your nick (account name) but doing that didn't take for me... might have to wait for some type of server sync doing it that way.

I just looked in the alias file and I think you should be able to type the following after bringing up the console (~)

Anyone having luck with this... I would like to add the TG tag to my name to separate myself from the hordes of non TG members on the server.

Just create a new profile, and then copy all of our other config files over except the profile one. You won't have to remap.

Bah! Says |TG|octavius is taken. That's garbage, or the system recognizes it as the old account TGoctavius. I won't bother til the game comes out. Maybe we'll have options for CPID's independent of account information.
