I just bought an Audigy 2 Value Creative sound card, and Logitech USB headphones with a nice mike hookup. The guys at Best Buy said they would work together, but I'm not hearing anything out of my head phones. Am I an idiot for not just buying some regular audio jack headphones?
Windows seems to believe the the sound card is installed and seems to play the test sounds in control panel, but I'm not hearing anything. I'm not seeing any errors, but am also getting no sound. Can anyone help? I don't have working audio jack headphones anymore to simply test the damn card with. Is anyone else uysing USB headphones with a Creative Audigy 2 sound card?

Re: Am I retarded? USB headphones and Audigy 2
Well, the USB headsets usually have an audio chip built in. If you went to the trouble to buy an Audigy I would recommend getting headphones/headset with standard plugs.
