I tried to connect to either TG's server or some other server and got a "Your version is older than the server's version." (or something to that effect) message.

Now with Punkbuster, I don't think my PB updates by itself because some servers I go on, a message in game comes up repeatedly that I have an older version and I eventually get kicked.

I've been away for most of the weekend, so I'm wondering if there were any updates I missed. Is there any way for me to check if my PB is auto-updating or not.

There has been a version 1.01 patch that came out last thursday I believe. All TG have been patched to update to this version. However EA has admitted some problems (server memory leaks being the crucial one), and have recommended downgrading to version 1.00 (ie fresh installing the game).

I think Apophis is reviewing whether the TG servers will be rolled back or not - but I expect someone far more knowledgeable than I will be able to provide a more completive answer.

Anyone have any information about checking if my PB is updating itself?

If PB isn't updating automatically, go to evenbalance.com and get pbweb.exe. Run it to manually update PB.
