Help weird water problem
Ok I don't know what the problem is or if there is even a solution to this but if you look at my pic the water looks weird. Ok on my 9600xt there were no weired water jagged edged lines like the ones in the pic and now with my x800xlthat happens with the water. I dont understand why its happening my card is much better than the 9600xt and the 9600xt did not do this. Now the water renders with these crappy jagged lines they sort of move while you go foward or whereever you are. They are mostly noticable when you are in the air but its so annoying and I dont think that should happen at all with my new x800xl. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it whether it would be to change a setting or whatever. I will also try to get some more pics. thnx

You can see some areas of the water look perfect and nice but it all should look like that. |

Re: Help weird water problem
K my other specs are...
80gighdd 2gigs of corsair ram P4 3.0ghz HT and of course the x800xl Other than the water prob the card works very good. I mean it plays HL2 with no problems but I know BF2 is very demanding. |

Re: Help weird water problem
cooge...i know u fixed it..but you should download the new drivers
"ATI have released their new 5.7 Catalyst Drivers, but it contains a known issue for Battlefield 2. Battlefield 2: Geometry corruption or missing textures maybe noticed when playing the game for an extended period of time under Windows XP with an ATI Radeon® X800 XT installed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19709" heres a link https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27 |
