The beeping is only when you have TS "on top" maximised in Windows. Whenever it's in the background(like when you're ingame) those beeping noises will go away. Chances are your TS binds work just fine in game as they are now. Most of mine beep during setup too.
But yeah I love the numberpad as I rarely need to talk to TS in the heat of combat. Just drop back from the front line for a bit. All the numbers keep my channel switching straight. Shift+numbers to relogin as USMC pilot. Ctrl+numbers to login as OPFOR. Number 0 for whisper to OPFOR pilots. .(Del) for USMC. + for push to talk. / to mute. * volume up 10%. - volume down 10 %.
Still need to iron out the pilot binds for binding last whispers to presets and whisper to presets. Be nice if my joystick buttons were recognized by TS.
