When im playing BF2. I got black screen in game while player and it freeze but i can hear all my squads member talking, my gun shooting and it still stay online. Untill i hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete i go back to window desktop the color of the desktop is like 8 bit i restart the comp to fix it. only happen once a while could give me some pointers, and or advice I sure would appreciate it. If this thread already been post im sorry.

My BF2 setting

1024x 768 75 Hertz

All other setting is on Medium

My Window Resolution & Etc

1024x 768 75 Hertz
32 Bit
Windows XP PRO SP2
Video Card Nividia GeForce FX 5900 On A Hyundai L90D+ 19" LCD
Ram 1536 PC3200 400Mhz DDR
CPU 3.4g HT

Not come across this before lunisicx but if I had to hazard a guess I would say something in your PC is getting too hot more than likely your GFX card, so it reverts to a state of basic running.
Does this happen after you have been online a while ?
Do you accept the default settings in Video settings or have you changed them?

Yes, after playing a few hour online. I have changed my video setting is not default setting. Today i will try playing the game with my case panel off see what happen.
How can u check the temp on your video card?

I think most LCD panels run at 60hz too. You may want to double check your documentation.

Check with you Motherboard manufacturer. Dependant upon the model most supply a software application that can do this for you Good Luck
