I tried to jump into the private server game last night, and kept having connection issues. I was having problems last patch, but now, it's really pronounced.

What seems to happen is every 2 minutes or so, I get a "connection problem" error: the screen stutters, then regains as the connection is reenabled.

It also appears that the server is not recieving all of my keyboard inputs, since hitting W tends to have my ingame avatar running for the horizon, into a wall, etc., without being able to stop.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have a wierd issue with my laptop where some conflict is causing problems with my keyboard and mouse input in BF2. I didn't find out what is causing the conflict (I'm guessing its driver related) but I did discover that lowering the priority of the BF2.exe process in task manager cured the problem.

Of course, this is probably not the problem you have, but you never know.
