    My pleasure. I even joined the VAC User Forum so I could point you to this thread! I noticed you posted in Dutch's thread yesterday.

    Thanks/Tanks. Although I have the weapons programed in as voice commands (I keep forgetting so still use the mouse wheel to choose). Everytime I said "Thanks" my AT weapon would be selected. So changed the "Thanks (very much)" command to "Thank You".

    Maybe I should change it to Cheers! Thats the flexability of voice command software!

    I sent you a message via the VAC User Forum function. Have been talking to Shift_E the developer and as you righly said he is open minded towards new idea for the development of the program. Looks like he's taking on two new ideas for the next release of the program. Shall be able to toggle on voice recogntion with the quick tap of a single key and also be offered the choice when setting up your commands in VAC Builder to have the command automatically toggle off voice recognition on completion of the action. Actually he's probably also going to allow recognition to be toggled off bi issuing a voice command too.

    I have a full profile for BF2 setup with all the commands and I'll post it up on the VAC site once I'm happy it works ok with the next version. Mind you I switch weapons etc using the buttons on my MX1000 mouse. I mainly want the voice recognition working smoothly for Commo Rose interaction. I'd like the Commo Rose commands to execute a little faster, preferably as fast as they did in Shoot but it might just take a little experimentation to refine that.

    I had mentioned to Shift_E in PM about this thread and also the thread on TotalBF2 and I think he appreciates your word of mouth advertising here.

    I dont understand why there is so lack of interest in this thread.

    Surely. Saying the command is better than "Q mouse click, mouse click ..... wash, rinse repeat?"

    I know this is an old thread,but i just got VAC and was wondering if anyone could help me with setting up the timings for the commands that Sssnake_Eyes
    posted

    The rose blinks on the screen,but no action is taken.

    I've tried to slow the command down,but nothing seems to execute.

    Any help would be great.

    Alright Gumby, I'll have a root around at home as soon as I can for you. I have a profile for VAC for it to save you some time. Busy this eve but should be able to get it to you tomorrow.

    I will be in great debt to you for this, I only wish I had the opportunity to play BF2 when you did with this. I just got the game in December and it has taken me this long to find this cool extra stuff out.

    I thank you again if you can locate it , I think with VAC this would be a fun way to play any game.

    I've read everything you and Sssnake_Eyes have post on the VAC forums,but I haven't been able to have success getting the first command going, except for single commands like go prone where it only uses one button.

    I also pm'ed you over there,but it's an old thread over there too, so I did not know anyway to contact you, so I thought I'd ask here as well.

    Apologies for not getting back to the PM on the VAC forums my friend, I have received PMs there before with no problems and both myself and Sssnake_eyes would have been more than willing to help you out when messaged but alas I never got any notification. The topic was also quiet active on TotalBF2.com as thats where it originally started and has got a lot of attention from there. I've long left BF2 behind for BF2142 but the Voice activated stuff isn't really needed as much with the limited air functionality Anyway your query has found it's way back home thanks to Tactical Gamers trustworthy forum so I'll sort you out in the morning.

    If I download your shoot profile will it work in VAC ?

    I read what you had posted over there. @totalbf2

    Just curious,because I could do that and I would be set.

    I played around with it again last night and I think I only made things worse lol.

    I tried all sorts of stuff with just the thank you command.

    The closest I can get is the q button flashes the comm rose up and then back off no matter what I try.

    I have everything back the way it was now,but I have no idea where to go with it.

    I even tried to record the macro on my G-15 and apply the timing to it,but it wont work for VAC only the g-15.

    Gumby,

    PM me your email and I'll send you on the VAC profile as I've found it.

    It's straightforward enough once you've found a command that works just try and keep the timings the same. The Shoot profile won't work in VAC, both of them use an XML file format to store the profile but the layout is different for both apps. However I did base my original VAC profile on the one I created for shoot but everything had to be edited to comply with the VAC layout.

    I should have a copy of it around somewhere, I'll have a look later for it and update the link. TotalBF2 seem to clear down stuff once a year or so. Be in touch later.
