Help with BF2 and Norton

I just installed Norton 2007 lastnight and am unable to load BF2, went into my firewall but can't figure oiut how to open ports, if anyone has the new norton's 07 and knows how to navigate or do WHATEVR it is I need to do to load BF2 I would be your best friend forever!!! Thanks

quickest solution, dump norton and get AVG. But im sure its to late to return norton

o.k. this is my first tech solution... get ready

1. Go to Control Panel

2. Go to Windows Firewall

3. From here you can turn it off or

Make BF2 and exception.

yes which is what I had done in the past but now I am not using my windows firewall I am using my norton's firewall

You have to go into Nortons firewall and tell it to allow BF2 to have access. Will work once that is done.

Haha, Norton.

With a hardware firewall (Ie. a router), Windows built-in firewall, and a little common sense, you'll be fine.
