    Talking Awesome Scrim Dudes!!!

I've never played a scrim before, but this was, without a doubt, been one of the most fun times I've ever had on any computer game. Just awesome, and I don't think I'd ever have had an experience like this if I hadn't found TG, this was just great. Thanks for everyone who organised it, thanks to everyone that participated and it made it work, and a special thanks to my squad-mates (Jakaleel (SL) (Jak) FYAH29 (FYAH), Ikill4aliving, (Kill), Arithea (sorry, no nickname here, ) ) who were just awesome, and my team, who were a cool, fun bunch of people.

    Re: Awesome Scrim Dudes!!!

I'd have to agree, one of the better scrims / games I've had in my FPS experiences.

GG sharingan it was fun playing with you even though I don't think I was on your team. I will also agree that TG rocks and Is the best gaming community I have ever been a part of.

Great job organizing it guys I believe Anospa and Ainselie were the ones behind this. great job guys it came together awesome and the matches were intense, and balanced I thought. I was in Lorax's squad for the first 2 rounds, we were predominately armor / attack focused controlling 2-5-1-or 4 on suez. The first match could have gone either way for a while, until our team pulled ahead with the silo control, the second was very close as we were in their core but they had 4/5 silos and it literally came down to the last sliver of each titan. Great match, I think the 2nd was my fav.

By the 3rd match we had been reduced by a 2-3 on each team, and I ended up in the Titan D squad, where we rocket spammed our way to victory Had a few close calls with some timely revives and some good squad leading by P.Drona.

Also thanks for letting my friend Nefarious sub in, he had an awesome time as well gunshipping for the most part.

Will be patiently waiting and anticipating the next scrim, if & when it goes down!

    GG.

Edit: Here are the SS's I got the the round ends.
Round one I didn't get the ending, but this is about 4/5th of the way through.

Good games, but on a personal note it was a complete exercise in frustration for me. My bandwidth was all over the place, with my ping repeatedly fluctuating from 75 all the way up to 720. It got so bad that I had to withdraw from the match about 15 minutes into the first round on the second map. The simple act of walking forward in a straight line became utterly impossible, not to mention simply aiming at someone.

Total frustration. Still, thanks goes to Vortex for a good job SL'ing.

Haha, looks like Bravo got the third round. I had to pull out after the second round and I'm glad to hear we won the last one.
The scrim was fantastic. Great fun, I can't wait for the next one. (And I'm not just saying that, we need dates right now.)

Highlight of the match? Bravo's assault on Hallway 1 in round 2. That was ... absolutely brilliant. I cannnot imagine a harder task in this game than taking hallways 1 or 2 defended by TG people but we did it and I was grinning like a madman when it happened. Great job Alpha.

Glad you guys had some fun! Hopefully next time around I won't be onslaughted by a ton of random crap/get sick. Really glad it came out and worked in the end!

I keep on wanting to do an infantry scrim, but you guys keep saying Titan!

I'd totally be down for an infantry scrim. Or another Titan, or a NS scrim for that matter!

Thanks to the organizers, and Anselie for commanding - you did a great job.

Thanks to my squad members - Tarenth, Zhohar, Superfastkill and BoT| Housekeeper007 - you all did a great job both on the ground and on Titan D. It can get boring waiting for folks to stroll down your hallway, but the squad showed excellent discipline holding down the fort.

    Great game everyone!

    More scrims!!!

No problems, Me and Lorax had everything covered. I setup the 2nd titan server for the scrim and other then that, Me and Lorax did rolecall. Next time, I don't care if your pucking fishes, Your coming

Aw hey, no problem! I was glad to have you in squad for the bulk of the game!

This was my first time really SLing in a scrim environment; I hope I lived up to the task. I want to take a moment to thank Ainsele - a superb and fantastic commander - as well as everyone in my own squad including Gator (Gator762MFJ), Ral3igh (transplanted for the third round) and my good friend Darklight, who gave up aerospace engineering homework to tag along for this when our team was short (gave it up rather willingly, I might add). This was definitely a lot of fun and I am eagerly looking forward to the next scrim.

So yes, good job to everyone - especially those Alpha guys who were defending their Titan on the second round. I have never seen such a spirited defense of a hallway as I did from you! I was kinda sad that I had to commit suicide by throwing myself as far forward as I could, dropping grenades and rockets as I went - it was such a beautiful thing to behold!

Thanks to Eroak, Lorax, Ainselie and Anospa for organising this scrim.

    And awesome played by all!

Most weird moment? Me and P.Drona were kicked for being idle while on Titan defence. We fell asleep while Zohar was eating his tasty almonds I'm not making it up, it's all true!

Yes I had a bad lag day as well, my usual abroad lag, but I still managed to get the occasional kill.

I'm proud to say I was part of the Alpha squad that held the titan corridor(s), but it was mainly down to the organisation of our SL (Jakaleel) who was a great leader. Also, I rate the guys that managed to make it down the hall, we had a pretty good fortress there and it was down to great commanding. It seemed like Bravo commander (Ainselie) said to just attack the titan all out, which was clever, as we were close to winning, and this was a risky, yet possibly brilliant decision. Invading the titan all out could have finished us, just before we finished them, it was very close, I think we did good to hold on, and I also have to give praise to the ground forces for capturing all those silos, between just 2 squads. And congratulations to Bravo team, who did a great job overall.

Just echoing this post, thanks again to all that organised!

    Definitely do both dude.

Lol, yep I got kicked too, RIGHT BEFORE AN ONSLAUGHT ON THE TITAN, I had to reset everything and come back as soon as possible, but my teammates were so awesome, as a 4-person squad they still managed to hold it while I was gone, great play from my awesome squad .

I won't be able playing any 2142 for like another year. I needed to take a long break from it, and when I saw this scrim happening, I thought it would be the perfect way to end my career for a while . I wish everyone a good time in their future scrims, and maybe I might be back for another one in the future.

For those who had fun and appreciate all the hard work that goes into planning a scrimmage, don't forget about TG's Ribbon Nomination System. This system in unique to TG and depends solely on YOUR NOMINATIONS.
