Full Painful Friday 17/11
Ouch ouch ouch... my team go steamrolled so bad friday night. Some days you win some you lose.
Highlights include:
- Aproaching Ruins on Pac side with my APC and asking ....rather... begging... yelling in my Squad for a gunner. Not once but twice... and a third time. What a good time to get no response since we had a full infantry squad pushing against us. I had 2 green dots on the ground next to my APC without hopping in.
- Losing 3 Flags as EU on Camp Gib in the first 3 minutes including ruins and EU base. After being capped out 10 minutes into the game while yelling at my squadmates we had an enemy squad on the first floor of central camp.
- Not learning anything and continue the bad streak on the Pac side. There were defenders sticking their heads out behind the cover of tollstation without getting punished. Did the ancient style of rocketwhoring that place fade out of the memory of people? After my walker went down there was no hope left and we even lost our only flag.. harbour.
..at the very last.. the server decided he cannot take it anymore and crashed..

I didn't think you knew how to lose Lyra. It indeed sounds like a painful night.

Yeah, we had elements of both the 3rd and 9th on the EU side. With the server full and no admin in site, we couldn't get switched over to try and even things out. Lyra did defend Cetral single handedly for a time. Then as he said, at almost 12EST exactly, the server crashed. It took ~10min. for it to come back up. A few of us hung around to get it reseeded.

More highlights:
- On the round of Tunis before. My Squadleader was on the Crane in our PAC base. I asked him... "hmm... do you think you are useful up there?" to get the reply "Yeah... i can overview everything from up here!" Mind you we only had Eastern Docks and were bleeding out horribly. Then he was like "Oh I think there is one guy on Eastern Docks!" - Yep he had an awesome overview... just that one guy brought his 4 Squad friends and they stole our last flag right under our nose!

Oh yes, that was a most painful set of matches. I think we were also hampered by a lack of commanders for several of the maps. If I wasn't trying to repress my memories of last night so much I might have better commentary. All I remember is the great amounts of pain from those rounds.
