Post AAR: Fall of Berlin - 12/28

    Fall of Berlin
    December 28, 2142

It was a very cold day in Berlin as the 9th Mobile Infrantry Detatchment was charged with holding the southern approach to the city. We were over joyed to have the assistant captain amoung us again. Pfeil2281 had just recently returned from a very long leave, so long infact some of us had just about forgotten how to pronounce his name (for those asking it's "file" not "phil" or "feel"). As our deployment commenced our squad leader, Pfeil2281, didn't let us down and immediately started shouting out orders.

It was a dangerous outing for the two rookies amoung us. DaBrit and nuckj had just recently enlisted with the 9th MID. Having only been civilians a few weeks earlier it was clear that they were on their way to making a mark for themselves. Backing up the rookies we had some very seasoned veterans with Heavy<313> and Spiff913. I, DaddyOfThree, rounded out our odd bunch of soldiers leaving us with quite a motley crew apptlyed named "SUPERBAD" by our squad leader.

It wasn't long before mortar rounds and bullets were raining down upon us. We battled long and hard as wave after wave of PAC forces tried to storm through the southern approach. Occasionally our squad leader would scream, I'm mean call, for us to advance and eliminate the few remaining PAC forces. In the end the PAC forces fought admirably but we managed to hold the southern approach even though we had suffered some casualties.

I had a good round with Rage, G--Man and a few others (sorry). We were defending the northern route. We served up a couple of made sandwichs to the PAC troops I ended the round with a nice tag from a nameless member of the 8th's. It was a fun round for us although it mightn't have been from the other side the teams were slightly stacked for this round.

That really makes me wish my ban would expire a few hours sooner than its supposed to. I'd like to give you 9 worshippers all a lesson.

A very nice AAR, DaddyOfThree. That particular round was full of action and a lot of fun.
